Been a while since posting anything. I updated my meth setup for some IAT control. After going some rounds in bracket racing, I was building heat as the rounds got closer, and losing my dial. This caused a little reduced power due to IAT timing pull. By moving the IAT into the meth, it will keep things in check and hold the dial in. Very Happy

Here's what I started with. The stock IAT was in the MAF, and forward of the meth nozzle. No IAT cooling benefit like this...

I moved the nozzle forward in the air bridge, and utilized the IAT provision in the K&N for a push in sensor, GM 12160244.

Here's an IAT breakout harness that makes wiring a snap.

Initial testing on the street shows the IAT drop about 15 degrees below ambient, after just a couple seconds of boost. I'll report the results from the track after the next event.

Had some nice results at the track. (Except for losing 3rd round). For example, on a run starting with 85 degree IAT, it dropped 15 degrees after a few seconds into the run, and finished the run at 75 degrees IAT. Before this mod, the IAT was reading up to 130 degrees during a run. That's a drop over 50 degrees, and never got close to pulling timing. A great mod for about $50!
